Animals at Risk/Needs Rescue
ANY animal listed in the Featured Animals links are at risk.
The animals showcased have been at our shelter for an extended period of time and need to be adopted or rescued as soon as possible. A few of these animals may have medical and/or behavioral conditions that make them unsuitable for adoption by the general public. However, with the assistance of 501c3 rescue organizations, these animals may potentially find forever homes. It is important to note that the Stanislaus Animal Services Agency does not make any claims about the availability, behavior, or condition of any specific animal.
Rescue organizations are strongly encouraged to promptly contact the Rescue Coordinator at Rescue@stancounty.com to express their interest in acquiring any of these animals.
We strive to maintain an accurate and comprehensive list. The links provided below are updated every sixty (60) minutes. However, please be aware that an animal's status can change at any moment. The Stanislaus Animal Services Agency cannot guarantee the availability of any animal listed in the links upon your arrival or when you contact the shelter. For further inquiries, please reach out to us at moc.ytnuocnats@eucser.
